We have our last symposium in this academic year on May 13th, 2018 at WALC 1055 at 3:30 pm. We are delighted to host Md. Sanwar Hossain (aka Sanwar Sunny), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dhaka Metropolitan Police. Thanks to personal contact with our Publicity Chair Md Rejaul Hoq Nayem, we will be hearing from him before we have our first movie screening Dhaka Attack. Nayem is helping us to organize the symposium with Skype connection.
Md. Sanwar Hossain graduated in chemistry from Jahangirnagar University. He has been working in Dhaka Metropolitan Police as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) for 10 years. He is also the in-charge of Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU). He is trained on bomb disposal & post-blast investigation from the USA in 2009. He is also expert on high-risk operations and completed his training on TST- Tactical Support Team from the USA in 2012. He is also an FBI National Academy Graduate (2015) and FBINA associates. Dhaka Attack (2017) is his first movie. He has written the story, script, and dialogue of this movie based on his real-life experiences.
The special symposium is the 6th of our newly introduced symposium series and will conclude the planned events of the 2017-18 academic year of this Executive Committee. We are currently in the process of electing a new President and will update you once the election process is completed.
